How about that little gem I stumbled across. A manufacturer that actually makes HO alternators for our cars! Only it does say LXi and SEi, but I don't know what the difference would be.

at the bottom they have DX ones. it says 89-84 Accord. maybe it 83-84? i dunno but that is cool.

what would be the advantage of this'? wouldnt it do the oposite of an underdrive pully? i am "guessing" that this would be good for people with big systems, or maybe lots of extra electrical stuff going on. i am on the right page or am i way off?
This is great for people with audio systems that draw alot of amps.

Damn... I suppose that isn't TOO outrageous, but that is hella expensive... considering for newer model cars you can get a HO alternator for like $200.
