Remeber me? Pic of my new car.

uh hey guys. its me, Omega2001x...only now im Omega3001x. yeah, anyway, i finally got pics of my new car so i thought i'd share. its a 93 prelude si. the only thing ive been able to do so far is get the 18" Racing Hart M5s on there. i gotta pay those off before i can do more stuff. tell me what you think...i hope you like it. micah, what do you think man? you need to come up and see it in person cuz these pictures pretty much suck. lol. much prettier in person.

Welcome back Omega. I have to say that I absolutely LOVE THOSE RIMS. I like your rear spoiler too. How much do those rims run?

ah thanks man! i really appreciate that. um, i order the wheels from wheelmax.com over the phone. the total came to $1649 after shipping and mounting and balancing. they have 215/35 toyo proxies on them. took 3 days to get here.

and im not at all trying to sound condecending whatsoever, but i doubt a 3g would keep up with a 4th gen prelude si. i know for sure my accord wouldnt have a chance. the prelude does 0-60 in 7.0-7.2 seconds (depending on what, i have no idea) and has a lot of power on tap at cruising speeds. my model has 160hp and 156ft.lbs of torque and you can feel every bit of it. i absolutely love it! hehe

ok well, thanks for the compliment...see you guys later

Yeah those preludes do move my friend has a 92 si that had a fully built bottom end and full gude head package and other bolt ons and that thing was fast as hell and handled real good. He has done a lot to it and now its sitting in his garage with no motor in it because he beat it badly and the gude head sucked but he plans on going with a JDM H22 but i dont see that happening this year but its a nice car to build.

I hate to be mean about it, but those rims DO NOT fit that car what so ever. Its either they are to damn big, or the design just doesnt flow with the car....either way....their fugly!

I dont know if its because the car is so stubby or what....but damn...I wouldnt pay 1600$ for it if my life depended on it.

Its sad when most of our 3gs look better and will turn more heads then that car. Most will look at it and go "man, look at that queer driving" and others will go "No, dude, Look at the queer car!" Its a matter of taste, but either way...your getting laughed at.

Maybe you need to add a wing to this one too, then maybe when you get laughed at you think they are laughing at the wing and not you or the car...and also good job for paying 1600$ for a set of expensive m5s when all they look like are more or less focal wheels. The set up right now just aint cuttin it kiddie!

Sorry, its either....go slow and look straight, or go fast and look like a homosexual. Well, either way your still a homo.....but I guess going fast gives them less time to look.

    Speaking my mind....who, me?

Speeking of racing them in a 3rd gen accord, I raced my friends last night at a 1/8th track, He beat me once and I beat him once. He ran a 10.6 and I ran a 10.7, Not much different.. He has a open air filter, and his is a five speed. Was fun though.. Give me the cam and cat back exaust and I believe I could take him easy until he started on his.:lol

told ya so,, i doubt the prelude si does 0-60 in 7.? seconds, i think your reading specs on the v-tec 200h/p prelude......you have the regular dohc no-tec...which i hung with easily...twice

yeah that car won't do 0-60 in 7 whatever seconds.....not with 160 HP. He'd be lucky to do 13's. Nice car though, even though the back looks like a Jack-o-lantern :p

actually...the 4th gen prelude vtec does 0-60 in 6.8seconds. the 4th gen prelude si does it in 7.0-7.2 and the 4th gen prelude s does it in 8.5. the 5th gen prelude s with sport shift does 0-60 in 8.5seconds, but the 5th gen prelude sh 5speed does in 6.8. so with that said, i dont think a 3rd gen accord with at the most 120hp and 122lb.ft of torque geared for cruising is gonna do jack to a car with 160hp and 156lb.ft of torque geared for quick acceleration. and no, 160hp isnt that impressive, its the torque that makes it special. compared to the 111lb.ft of the civic si or 129lb.ft of the gsr etc. once again, i aint tryin to start trouble. im mearly stating the obvious facts. and 0-60 in 13seconds? where did that come from?? the accord does 0-60 in less time than that!! mmmkay nuff said. later.

you may have more torque than the Si or GSR, but those are also much lighter cars (around 200lbs lighter) with similar horsepower and thus will still beat your 93 lude Si in the quarter mile. i have to admit that some of the figures people were making up in this thread were pretty wild though

I stand corrected...all you had to say was that it had a H23a in it lol. That's a fast car you have there man. But I hope the accords you are talking about aren't the 3rd gens, they do it in oh....16 something stock i think
