Started to swap my B20a in.

I started to pull things off the A20a2 engine today and have managed to get the carb, inlet, exhaust, etc off my car today.

Only problems so far were the hub nuts were tight (got them slackened by a local garage), exhaust stud snapping off when I was taking the down pipe off and I have been unable to the gear selector cable out of the tranny.

The exhaust flange where it bolts onto the manifold is differant on the B20a than it is on the A20a. The studs on the B20a manifold are wider than the A20a2 and the pipes are wider appart too.
The down pipe from the B20a parts car was rotten and had the flex cut out and replaced with a peice of pipe plus it is 2-3in longer than my aerodeck pipe. Looks like I will have quite a bit of cutting & welding to do on the downpipe before Ive finished.

hmm try a prelude downpipe. might work. not sure with the engine tilt difference.
