Hello from the evergreen state (WA)

Found a great deal on Craigslist, so now I own my first Honda. It is a 1986 Accord LXi sedan with 5spd. 280k hard and abused miles lol, just based on looking at it so far. I've been lurking a few days, lots of great info. I am really enjoying this car so far!

Thanks for th warm welcome! Current issues are fixing the connector to coolant sensor, causing high idle, flushing coolant and possible radiator replacement.

Need to see if sunroof drain tubes are plugged, thorough brake system flush and eval. Lub? Lock cylinders, as well as finding some gremlins in power locks, slow windows etc.

Also, likely the valve seals are shot. And a muffler! It doesn't have one!

Still, I paid $400 for it and it gets much better mileage than my ford dually, which was the whole idea. (85 ford 460 auto)

AND, need to figure out how I changed my profile to read threads backwards lol.

Lubricate the window arm (the technical word is slipping my mind) with silicon. Problem solved.

Thank you Charlie, your directions are quite clear. I did find that this morning after posting. I've read about the slow window syndrome, just haven't had time to do it. Today was first nice day here in Mt Vernon, and of course I had to work. More rain tomorrow. Not my favorite time of year here.
