-5 speed tranny (EFI's had better gear ratios)
    -shift linkage
    -driver's side axle
    -rear mount
    -5 speed starter
    -fake leather boot for shifter
-pedal bracket (mounted to firewall, see pic in how-to section)
-clutch pedal and brake pedal (make sure to grab the bolts, nuts, washers, and springs)
    -pedal stoppers
    -clutch cable
    -flywheel and flywheel bolts
-clutch friction disc and pressure plate
    -flywheel cover
-wires and connector for running it from tranny to appropriate wires for reverse light
-for EFI, 5 speed ECU (but you can get away with auto ecu)

If I forgot something, please add it to the list.

Best way would be to buy a very similar vehicle that is rusted out or has a blown engine or something of that nature to make it cheap. Then when you do the swap you have all of the little pieces that you might need right there on the donor car. When you are done pulling off the transmission parts (and anything else you wnat to save)you have it hauled away for scrap and still get a few bucks for it. If you try to collect all the little bits it will be much more difficult and frustrating.

hey yk86 my dad said something to me about the crank needing to be drilled to accept the pilot bearing i believe. is the auto crank drilled out and capped or do you need to swap the crank out too? my dad might not know what he's talking about he doesn't know shit about imports and hasn't converted a car to manual since probably the damn 70's!

LOL. The crank has bolt holes which are the same for the flywheel and driveplate so that isn't a problem.
