i am just wondering how to do this. i was told after doing intake headers and exhaust it might help out to have the computer be reset. whats the process behind this?

Pull fuse #10 in the under hood fuse box for a bit & then replace it.
Nothin' extra
yaeh for how long? i tried that for like 1-2 min, and it didnt work. (at least i assume it didnt work, cause my clock stayed the same.)
Clock is not run by the ECU. Just take the fuse off for 5 mins or so, put it back, then let the car idle for 5 mins.
read the thread in Performance
edit: oh you have sorry

the fuse says ECU, clock, i would assume they are run off of the same fuse... lol..
ok well i will try to take it out for a few more minutes then!
When in doubt, disconnect the battery terminal for a few. There is only one problem with this approach: You have to reset your clock (no big deal) and all the presets on your head unit.
i always disconnect the battery for a few seconds and turn the ignition on just to make sure you will lose all the power in the electrical system.
