no it was not!! But i have never heard the beep until last night!! i usually put my seatbelt on after i get pulled over!! shhs!!I am worried that something mechanacally might be screwed!!

you don't usually hear beeping when you start your car without your seatbelt on? maybe your seat belt switch needs cleaning ? its near where you plug your seatbelt in. mine always beeps 5? times when i start up unless my seat belt is plugged in.
Mine always beeps 5 times too when I start it up if I haven't put my seatbelt on yet (which I do shortly after). Maybe the plug is just barely making contact, so sometimes it does and others it doesn't. It's the only little loose wire under the drivers seat, so check that out, I bet it's loose

Same thing happened to me these past days. I thought I got into the wrong car with all these alien beeps.
