89 lxi key stuck in cylinder, can't push in to go to zero position

apparently Honda does not make these cylinders anymore. anyone find a different one they like? if the key is stuck and won't turn to the 'off' position, can I still just take the 6mm screws that hold the switch on the back of the cylinder off and push in that release and the cylinder slides out?

how did you swap it out? can I have the key in position 1 and still remove the cylinder? mine is a 5 speed I forgot to mention.
