In my 87 dx hatchback the stock radio is a pos tape deck. The radio preset buttons are not labled except for one, it says "METAL". I have no idea why they have the type of music your expected to set it to and even stranger is its the only lable one.

thats for the type of tape... it dont do much... just get a CD player and some speakerz

believe me when you buy a new CD player and speakers you'll be amazed why you didn't buy new ones sooner.

the stock honda radios use Alpine sound chip in them that is why it sounds so good.
