The hood looks DAMN good. We had to use self-tapping screws to get the grille on due to the hood not having any sort of threads for the bolts where the grille goes, but that is cool. For a $450 cf hood, it was a good fit.

Without further crap, here it is...

yeah, definitely got a junk-yard-wrecked-my-hood-so-i-went-and-looked-for-another-one-and-all-they-had-was-this-one-that-is-in-direct-contrast-to-my-original-color look going on. Its fuckin tight tho, no doubt, but IMO when i drop the cash for that shit i'll at least paint my headlight covers black or something...... slick as hell hood though man. can't wait to get mine.

well i didnt want to paint the headlight covers cause i am saving up for a prelude headlight conversion so painting them would be kinda dumb when they wont be there too much longer.

without the grille tapped onto the hood, are you able to reach the release latch for the hood, so that anyone can open it?

yeah, really. I'm surprised there aren't more instances of CF hoods growing legs and running away. after all, they can't be that hard to remove, they're light, and even if someone messed it up taking it off, the material itself is valuable.

They are not THAT valuable, as far as compared to a true carbonfiber one. These are fiberglass based ones, and fit a very odd car; it's gonna be kind of hard to hide the fact of where you got it, given there are only 10 in circulation.

Yo, you should get some carbon fiber and lay it over your head light covers, it's not that hard, I made a mold and did it with my friend's dashboard. Oh, if you're gonna make a mold though, make it out of fiberglass. Much less expensive. The easier alternative to making your headlights look carbon fiber is to buy that carbon fiber lookalike stuff that comes in sheets. Don't know how well it would handle the weather though.
