A bit steep yeah, but they'll be a dam sight better than those gayer than liberace HID retro fit kits, and will last for a bloody long time
Holy Shnikeys! Someone other than me finally found them. I was literally fixing to start a post about them! You beat me by 3 days!
I've been eyeballing JW Speakers LED headlights since last tax return. They're nearly twice the price of the Truck-Lite headlights...and look alittle uglier...

the truck lite ones have been around for a few years, but the price scares the crap out of people. the big round ones were bout $600 each here for a while
Money part isn't bothering me. It's the theft part that scares the shit outta me. Though, the general average person couldn't look at it and tell you whether or not it's halogen or LED BUT, someone who knows what they are may 5 finger discount them though. $450 walking away for free in someones pocket is what is bugging me...

Just keep the flip lights down. No one will be able to remove them.

There is also a GE Nighthawk product that comes in a 6054 LED format and it looks exactly like the Trucklite model. I think there may be some re-branding involved, and if so - then we should be able to find them cheaper from the source (probably Chinese).

found a nice review.
the low amp draw on the combo switch might be a money saver right there sans a rewire job.
For theft I would say keep them doggies down when parked! Outta sight outta mind.

Since these cars do not have advanced lighting systems, how do you know the electrical system can produce the correct amount of power for the LED's to shine at the correct intensity? Consistency?
I'm sure these lights have built in drivers powering the LED. Its not going to be directly powered by the charging system like a headlight.
here are the watson streetworks ones, they got good reviews LED Headlights

thats probably something to do with the power supply running on AC. some florescent lights do that too through a lens, you can't see it with your eye, but the camera makes it visible, I don't think any of these would flicker as they all run on DC, I do like the Watson lights better as they have more of a retro look
The Watson Lights are just an Autopal brand housing with a LED H4 retrofit installed. I'm sure the light pattern isn't that great with those.

Most well designed LED drivers use pulse-width modulation, so they will all interfere with a camera's frame-rate. Our eyes (brains actually) just ignore the flicker if it's at a high enough frequency.
PWM makes LEDs even brighter and more efficient too.
You may have noticed newer car LED tail lights have a very subtle flicker to them if you look at them just right. Usually your peripheral vision is better at detecting motion than the center of your vision.
TI (Texas instruments) as well as other manufacturers have LED drivers that as niles mentioned use PWM, preferred method using DC. What makes the PWM method great for LEDs is the overall regulation, dimming capability, and efficiency as niles pointed out . The typical TRIAC systems for dimming circuits don't play very well with LED's same as CFL's.
Our eyes see around 60 Hz, give or take, so any odd ball frequencies can cause that flicker. More or less even with the camera its detection vs perception. Newer LED drivers are being developed to eliminate this issue and polarizing lenses.
Bottom line here is if these LED conversions come with a decent regulator/driver i would think flicker would not be much of an issue unless you are sensitive to it already.
