I was not after upgrades, I was hoping to get all the mods and admins to be part of the forum again.
The problem is that nobody knows who any of you are. Nobody does any of the little things around here anymore, a20a1 was always the biggest help on this forum.
88turboaccord, I know you are a mod, had a white 88 turbo hatch, and thats about it. I hate to say it but you were not even around when I joined.

...Working on updating that turbo list.
Thanks 89T,
I feel so rusty giving advice since I lost my accord. I don't even dream of vacuum lines anymore. hehe
I'll always come here as long as I can smooch off the unprotected wireless connections near my house.

I remember searching for your old threads a few times before, but came to the conclusion they were lost in the move. Not sure if it even made the move to "Automotive Forums" from the site we had before that. If it is here then it may be under a different user name or in Archives, if we even have that.

That is why I said the tapes probably have turned to dust by now.. Oh well. I wish I could find all the pictures of my car--plus videos. Through out the years, everything has disappeard off of my computers. I do miss the accord, it was fun while it lasted. Like an old girlfriend, you think back on all the good times and none of the bad.
Build another one.

I am sure my car was parted out long ago and lives on. I wonder what happened to the turbo manifold...
I guess this should be more private. but...
If there is any problem with the server going away I would like to purchase it to keep going. I would need huge help in the computer department but I feel I could be committed as far as the other obligations.
Thank you for all the great years!

Wow I log onto 3geez after what seems like forever and see a lot of familiar faces!
I'll probably get flamed for bringing back the dead but... I lurk and learn on this site a lot. I've spent entire weeks lookin for something simple like the main and rod bearing clearances set on 88turboaccords old engine (never found any specs). I love this site, the guys who always see things differently, like rendon, accordepiccenter, cygnus bobafett. regardless of the rpm capabilities the a20 blocks solid deck has potential you folks prove that daily yeah the cyl head needs some flow but look at the advances in turbo efficeincy since 88turbos car was stompin! Basically just wanted to thank everyone for the knowledge, work and most importantly sharing of what does or doesnt work. my 87 lxi with 249k has benefitted. Hopefully my build thread can begin with the new year. Thanks again
Well they all have blown up there cars so they should no what works and what doesn't it.

I dont think most people will post bearing clearances because its up to the machine shop to spec up your motor. we really dont have that much aftermarket support but in some cases you will be able to find ACL racing bearings or just stick with Honda OEM ones. if the rotating assembly is fully balanced i dont see why these engines cant go 6k+ rpm as long as the engine is still making power. What i really like about the A20 is that the bottom is an iron block with a closed deck so no need to sleeve the block. many B series parts work on the A20 just have to read 89T threads on motor building.
