I agree with messy. once you have everything looking good, run your finger along it to find minor imperfections. Since Bondo is a light colour, it can hide small things and your eye will miss them. Just close your eyes and run your fingers along and then you'll find something. Open your eyes and u'll b like "holy $hit, I see it now."
    good luck

best way is to keep hand flat and close yer finger, keep yer wrist straight and run it over the area, youll feel all the lows and the highs.... by the way, your project is unreal and i love the engine bay job
give er balls until she stalls...then gas er up again!

The body line on the fender is looking good ... I think another coat of body fill should do the job.... I know what you all mean about using my hands to see the imperfections.... I basically will close my eyes and run my hand over an area...if I can't feel the work I've just done then I've done a great job :-) ... I have 2 9" sanding blocks that are really helping out and I also have an air powered sander that's about 2 feet long or a little less that's making the job a lot easier :-)

Thanks for the adivce and kind words.... I have extremely high expectations and I truely hope I don't let anyone down :-P

    Thanx for stopping by.

I hope you're block sanding. 3geez are very blocky cars, and a nice long board sander will do wonders.

I want to get my hands on a nice long block for sanding that's for sure!

Sorry no progress actually I'm pretty mad at myself for not working on her at all in the last 2 weeks... I'm getting back into the swing of my personal life which means more late nights and sleeping in etc.

I will be working on her more very soon!
