    carb-efi transmission ques.

how important is it to have the same transmission the same while doing the efi swap. does it make it much more difficult. i have a 5speed lx and can get an 89'lxi for around 200.

huh? i dont understand too much... but i will tell u this... an LXi tranny has better gears so it would be advisable to swap the tranny as well as the EFI.

awww... that sux!!! so just use the same tranny. if it was a 5 speed, it would be an improvement in acceleration!

there are no wireing harnesses goin to the tranny. but the ecu will have some extra wires that might have to be dealt with. i dunno if u can leave them or what? talk to SEAN or some one who has done the swap
