    Question PCV Valve??

    Hi
yesturday my accord started to idle really weird. It was hunting like the mixture on the carb had gone wrong. It kept nearly stalling when I put it into drive etc.
I decided to have a look at it this morning took the top of the air box off to hear a stronger sucking noise coming from the crankcase ventilation pipe than the carb. I was like

Anyway I took the pcv valve out of the inlet manifold (small plastic thing that pushes into a rubbet grommet and has a small rubber pipe that curves round next to itself).

All I can see in the valve is a hole all the way through and a spring (no plunger etc). I realise that if this is the pcv valve then some of it is missing.

Has this happened to anyone else?
