    boost/vac guage

    on a carbed car which vaccum line can i hook up a boost/vac gauge?

    It taps into manifold vacuum... did you remove the vacuum lines from around the carb?

    no i havent removed the vac lines. I live in nz and already dont have emissions gear. should i still remove vac lines? at the moment i have got a vac gauge hooked up to the air bleed line but i dont think that there is pressure there as well as vac. if i put a boost/vac straight on to the manifold will i see vac and pressure?

    If you see pressure in a stock intake non-turboed motor, that means you are getting reversion which is bad.

    you should only see vacuum thats it.
    around 20" HG at idle and 0" at wide open throttle.
