I have no EGR...Would Like Some Info !

Check it out...here is a head off an A20A out of an 87 SI prelude.

This head has an EGR valve (I assume its the EGR valve) on the side of the head. How did this head get the EGR and why dont I have one!

No joke!! I dont have the entire piece on my head. Its like my head was made in a diff. sand cast. Actually I have 3 heads including a JDM head and NONE of them have the EGR valve!

Please shed a little light on this sitch!

    I have a 1987 Prelude SI 2.0L NON-EGR

Different emissions requirements, Accord EX has the A20A2 and it doesn't have the same castings on the manifold as the A20A1

So you probably have an A20A4

Well, that's an intake manifold, but I know that's what you're talking about. I don't believe the JDM versions of the A series manifold had an EGR valve port on them.

    Pics of manifolds please!

I posted a pic of the manifold exploded view but in a few days I'll have pics of MY manifold up!

I hope drive clean knows my car does NOT come with an EGR and lowers my standards!

How can I ensure I dont fail my e-test because of this?
