    HELP car overheats

    i have a 86 lx with170xxx miles and it has a new raditor, water pump, thermostat.and still overheats it does this after the car reg. starts to warm up. what could this be?please help me

    Are your fans kicking in? have someone that knows about cars check you relays under the hood. chances are that may be it. if not you probably have a clogged passage or a faulty temp sender.

    I agree with fox.
    Also check the radiator, heater and intake manifold coolant hoses & clamps.

    Well did you check all the hoses? Make sure that all the hoses eventually get warm all the way down the hose to make sure that one isn't blocked. Did you bleed the system after you changed everything? Also make sure that the fans are coming on when the engine warms up. The last thing I can think of would be a blown head gasket. Check for coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant.
