Thumbs up Fog Lights With Power Flip Covers

ok, you may have seen the factory accessory fog lights for the 3gee with the power flip up covers? well, those damn things are discontinued, and they dont appeal to most people anyway. but i would get some if i could find em. well, i've found something nearly the same. my friend went to Japan on his way to the Phillipines a number of months back. i finally went by today since he was there. i checked out some of the shit he got from over there. not everything he bought has come in yet. he has 2 pairs of JDM power flip cover fog lights. they are apparently from an AE86 corolla. he has one pair that dont say TRD or toyota on them. said i could take em for $75, i may talk him down. i'd like to have those to put on my 3gee. i know most of y'all arent into a rectangular fog light, but i'd like those to bring my car closer to looking less like most US models. i already have some driving lights the same size on now. i dunno, i'll see what's up with those. maybe he'll hold on to them for me. he got a lot of other goodies for hondas and other japanese cars. some are stored at his house, thats why i didnt get to look at everthing. so, what y'all think, should i get those fog lights? they'd go very well with my 3gee.

holy crap. I didn't know those actually existed. I've been trying to come up with a way to make the regular fog light covers retractable. Go for it.
Perfection is simply a matter of replacing parts.

Sounds like a wicked idea to me, go for it... I plan to get some rectangular yellow fogs and those covers would be an awesome addition/
