    Re: turbo charger?

you can probably make use of the turbo, the ic, the charge pipes, and the misc. parts. but you'll have to get your own custom-made manifold, modify one of those to fit your a20 or see if you can convince someone who has a turbo manifold to sell you one. and, i just noticed you have an lx. so that means you'll have to either convert to efi or figure out how to turbo a carbed engine. it's not impossible, but it's not as common in the honda world and no one on this board has a turbo on their carbed car. and those prices are kinda high for something you won't even be able to use fully. you could probably get parts used that are still in good condition and save quite a few pennies in the process.

have fun, and I could make a turbo kit for the 3g. I do recomend against the turbo in their kits, it's too big.

    Re: turbo charger?

he means he could make or combine all the parts and offer a kit specific for turbocharging a 3g. but from your other posts, i gathered that you seem to be looking for something to quickly slap on a turbo. if that's your goal, then i suggest you find a different vehicle to do that. the 3g is definitely not impossible to turbo, but it's not for those looking for a quick fix for their quest for power. turboing a 3g involves quite a bit more than just slapping on the turbo (as does turboing most non-turbo cars). you need more than a turbo kit. unless you're going to be running a small to medium sized turbo, you'll also need to upgrade your injectors to handle the added need for fuel. you'll need a new fuel pump. you'll need to figure out the engine management because the stock ecu is not built to calculate boost in it's calculations. you can either convert to obd-1 emissions system or buy a standalone. unless you're carbed, then you don't really need an engine management system. but you'll have to redo your carb to be able to handle boosted air as opposed to vacuum air. if you plan to run more than about 10 psi, you should really rebuild the engine with stronger internals if you plan to run very long.
i'm not telling you all that to discourage you. i'm telling you that to help you choose wisely. so you don't just start buying parts and then realize that this is actually a bigger project than you thought it would be. and the most important part. what is your goal? have a goal in mind. "to have a turboed accord" is a bad goal. have a goal of how much power you want to make and then go from there. without that, you may end up spending twice what you need to to reach your goal. again, not trying to discourage you or knock your idea or anything.
