    Time for new stereo

I went to BestBuy because i recieved a gift card from my school for my grades. I want to get a new HU and i was thinking of this one, looks nice too IMO.

    Or this one

There was a nice Kenwood for $130 that had a special on it which included a ipod adapter, but it had a joystick on it which i dont like. So which one should i get? I like both.Im kind of leaning towards the second one.

The 4800. It's a step up from the 3800. It's got a minijack aux in on the back so no messing around with adapter cables and crap. Plus it looks like if you decide to you can get a second aux if you do decide to get an adapter later down the road. I guarantee that they'll both sound exactly the same.

Plus the 3rd preamp out will make your stereo much easier to upgrade down the road.

i say the 5800....its a ok deck but if all you can afford is the 4800 i would say get it....my friend has the 3800 he paid like 100 bucks for it brand new in box...and got his whole system installed for 150...best buy rips you off...but if you buy warranty they will honor it...my friend was just 20 day warranty

i dont like that...the slot is just a hole like that dust can get in and then it wont read good since the lenz will be coverd in dust....the other flips down i think... more cleaner...anyways wut ever floats your boat.

Yea the 4800 the face flips down. I just realized that both of those are nice, but they are silver which doesnt really match the interior. I guess i'll have to look for something else if i can.

It is a nice stereo. So far i've been having mine for a year and cannot ask for me. Only problem i had was i removed the face plate a lot, causing the connection pins to bend a little. So try not to take it out a billion times a day.
