On an 89 Lxi would the stock alternator be able to handle Infinity Kappa components with 90 RMS in the front and 2 300W JL 10W3v3s for bass? I don't want a really loud system but I want something decent without having to replace the alternator if I can since I don't know how to do it myself and have a feeling it might get expensive. Thanks.
You should be fine. I had 500 watt system in my car and it ran just fine.

I wouldn't need a cap or extra battery for the 2 JLs and the Kappas then probably? I could probably even just go with 1 10W3v3 but I'm not sure right now. Thanks for the help.

i would run that if you have a big watt system...plus you can run you heater, bump the stereo, lights and fogs with no problem...lol
