I can't find an AUX input cable for my Pioneer DEH-M4800MP . The input in the back is like a head phone jack, and i need both ends to be head phone jacks, but i cant find anything. Anybody know where i can get one?

Yeah Radio Shack has them for sure. If they don't, because they've become this lame little mainstream electronics retailer now, then you can buy headphone jack ends and make your own cable. What you should do, is like my car, drill little holes and solder up some RCA ends so that you can have a permanent fixture. I'll show ya some pics of what I mean tonight.
Thanks for the help. I will check Radioshack this weekend. If they dont have it, i will just get some headphone jack ends and wire it up. I believe there is just 2 wires, a left and right speaker or headphone.

just go to any electronics hobby store and ask for an 1/8" jack to 1/8" jack stereo cable. they cost about 2$

Don't just leave some ghetto cable hanging out from under your dash. Make it nice and clean like so just buy the ends and solder your wire onto these, they're also available at radio shack for CHEAP!
No cables, no mess.
iPod or anything else that has RCA's on it can be hooked up. No fiddling with something that might not have a minijack on it.
there's no sense in converting from mini jack to rca's then back to a mini jack. it'd be way cleaner to just have a mini jack cable tucked away under the carpet than visible rca's.

Yeah I guess it's up to your taste. I'd prefer having permanently mounted jacks, instead of a cable coming out of the side of a column hanging there. Hence why I did the RCA jacks... Maybe put a minijack somewhere in the center column. They're hardly visible. Just like how they come in the newer cars.Originally Posted by jonrichert
