I can't decide which one I want to use! While the smaller of the 2 would look awesome with some JDM corners, the other set would look good with my USDM ones. I do plan on getting JDM corners soon....
Smaller JDM looking lens
Larger USDM looking lens
No lens

in case your wondering, the smaller ones are from a Saab 900. I have no idea what the larger ones are from. I found them in my shed tonight.
Well if you're getting JDM corners then JDM-style sidemarkers FTW!
bitesize is going to do some LED lights on my fender markers alsoOriginally Posted by speedpenguin

Hmm, any thoughts on placement? Do you all think it should be in line with the front markers or higher up on the fender, closer to the ridge? I'm thinking about 1 1/2 " in from the edge of the fender... basically, red outlined area or black outlined area...

Go with smaller and install it in red area. Black is too high
I was thinking that too. Plus there will be more room for wiring in the red area. (fatter part of the fender)Originally Posted by Hazwan

i think it would look better without one but if i had to choose, id take the small one in the red square
Yeah, i wanted to get the civic ones too but I got these for free. That was a big factor in why I got them. Since those pics were taken, I did them up in a few coats of nightshade. Just enough so they are black. I also decided to go with the smaller set.Originally Posted by MessyHonda

Hmm, seems after countless google image searching, and scanning the cars on the road, it seems 95% of cars have the side marker in the upper black are i outlined.... Sabz is in that area too and i like the look his has. I am swaying toward up there. Any of you fixed headlight guys have pics of where the factory side markers are on your cars?
both of em have it in the red part

Thanks Messy, choice made. Damn i want an Aerosex! HMMM..... Maybe i'll import one. I'd bet the hatch/coupe doors would swap and USDM glass...
Yeah, im with everyone else, go with the small ones and the red area. It wouldnt look right in the black. Most cars that come with sidemarkers factory have them in the red area.
