    Noob question, regarding USDM tails

Ok, so I've read the posts about Clearing a JDM or EDM Taillight but now i need to know... is there ANYTHING that can be done with the original USDM ones? Or, if not, where can i get the JDM or EDM ones, so that I can do it? Any and all help is appreciated. Are the JDM / EDM's easy to instal? Or, how do I custom make my own tails?

I came to this site becasue of the SeXy pic of Milatary_Mase's car... his tails I know are custom made by him, and as he is in Afganastan, is a little busy to be churning out the tails for those of us (and I'm sure there's a few...) that would gladly give our left nut for them.

So, any tut's , directions, tips... anything is appreciated.

I'm trying to make this car stand out. I promised my wife, who has been into customizing other cars (She did a OUTSTANDING job restoring a classic Nova), that she would be able to see this into completion. So far, we have rebuilt the engine, put on a custom exhaust, lowered it 2" , and tossed some nice looking 16" wheels on it. It's that champagne / gold / tan color, and the engine has been done in Red (hose covers, Valve cover , Oil cap, lots of little things) and Chrome hosing has been added where possible. She asked for Chrome fender flairs for X-mas, and I gladly obliged. Next month we will be tinting the windows, and adding some fog lights... but she's got her heart set on some nice tails... preferably clear / red. So.... sorry for the long post... and any help is greatly appreciated.

This pic is about a year old - different wipers, new chrome fender flairs since this

this is also about a year old... the valve cover has been painted red since then, as well as a few other things

you would have to get the JDM lights imported....i want to get some...the only thing is that they fit the 86-87 style trunk lid.

Hey guys, I have a great source for all things JDM for 3rd gen hondas. Cause i live in aus the Accord Si which is the Jap spec model was sold here. as such there are still quite a few around. If you're interested i know where i can go to get JDM tail lights. If your interested let me know. I'm not much of a computer buff (so don't know how to load pics of my ride onto the net) but if you want i can e-mail you some pics of my ride (accord Si) so that you can confirm that the tail lights are the one's you after. The same goes for any other parts.

Re: Noob question, regarding USDM tails

I found a set of the lights that are in the trunk lid, and thought id give my new dremmel a try. I'm in love <3 <3 i got those lights ready for the clear... all i gotta do now is wait for payday.

I stopped by the junkyard today... they have about a dozen 86-89 accords ... one with the fixed lights, the rest are the pop-ups. Most of the tails have either been broken or taken, but i managed to find one complete set... as well as the insturment cluster and the climate control.... I'll be getting those for myself, so while BITESIZE is working on the LED's, my car isnt sitting there looking raped.

If you guys need anything, let me know, and I'll see what I can get. I have 2 days a week off, and i work usually 3p-11p the other 5, so i can go in the mornings / early afternoons to look if need-be, but mostly I think its goin to be on the days off.

Bear in mind, you should tell me WHERE on the car to look for parts you will need... if it isnt blatently obvious . k, thx
