    New Subwoofer, installed!

Got my solobaric in, and the same day my remote bas controller came in, I decided to go stealth and install it in the glove box so it pops down when you open it! this thing hits hard! almost...too hard..... incase you are wondering she isa 12" Solobaric by kicker in a ported box, also by kicker, with a Audibahn 800w amp and a Streetwires amp kit, fun fun

looks like a clean install. Hows you like the sound quality with the sealed/ported box?

Thanks it's my 1st time, The sound quality to me is really good, however I am no where near an expert on such things, I didnt give it a thorough runthrough, but it hits good and deep on a very small boost at volume 4, and the SQ, I find is very nice, in car. however it is anoter matter completly when I got out, and will have to stifle some rattles from the trunk.

i just installed my stereo as well

i am runing a totally sealed box with a port in the bottom...port faces me...sounds real nice...my plate was a rattle'en so i put some screws into the bottom holes...doesnt rattle anymore!

that could be one of your noises if it only has 2 screws

Its gonna take some time to fine tune everything for your likeing. When i fined tuned my system, it took couple hours to find out what combo i liked. Every setup is gonna be different but this is how i did when i tuned my system. Maybe this will give u a guide of how to tune urs. With my system i had 3 different bass setting i could mess around with. One on my amp itself, my regular bass/fade on my deck, and my sub controller. What i initially did was to set all my bass settings all the way low. I set my gains 1/4 up. I put my volume to the appropriate level which i would be cruising with and fine tune it using that volume as a guide. I never messed with the bass settings on my amp and my regular bass/fade. The main bass controller i used was the sub control. in your case ur bass booster. that gave me all the control of how much bass i want. as for the treble, i just put it all the way up. There more complex ways of fine tuning ur system with the use of a crossover, but this way is a lot simpler. As for rattles, just get some dynamat cover your trunk with it. I hope this would help.
