ok i just got a new grille i like it but i want to know what it came off of like a different year or usdm edm or jdm all i have ever seen are the grray ones but this one is chrome heres a pic of it on the car

The 86-87 Accords had the grill with the chrome. 88-89 had the gray color looking ones.

the 88-89 have crome too.. though it's just one strip along the top (u can see it in my sig)

the problem with swapping in the 86/87 grille is the plastic sides dont match the eyelids or the corners

you can always just replace them.

yeah the 86-87 had more chrome...it does not look bad painted like bitesize's car.

i painted my eyelids and grill it looks good i still need to get some tall light paint for the markers

interesting stuff, this feature about our cars is really part of the uniquness of it. the blacked out look is eye catching if the car is the right color, like white
The carbon fiber look of the 86-87 is cool, but I would like to see some body cover them in another graphic with vinyl, like for example the nascar or nhra type cars with the vinyl headlights , You all have seen the camoflage vinyl people cover there guns, truck trim, and stuff with. this same stuff can be used to create any graphic you please.
Dam I just thunk this shit up... I am going to look into it!!!

i was going to paint mine 2 but the grill i got from the JY was missing that chrome part my old grill had it untel someone store the whole grill i have no clue on why thay wanted a stock honda grill
