    back deck

    i took my deck off does anybody know the best way to get the deck carpet looking good cleaning wise casue its so hard to vaccum comb or anything casue its so thin and im tryin to get all tose hairs out

    You could go to a fabric store and pick up some new fabric and recover it. Some 3M upholstery glue in a rattle can works great to adhere it. It will look brand new, and won't be so hard to clean. Fabric is so cheap too.

    Thats what I did in my trunk. I got tired of the damn carpet that had all the pine needles and crap stuck in it. It's impossible to get all that crap out of that kind of carpet.

    I pressure washed the carpet in my trunk. It is clean now, got all the little hairs and such out.

    Hmm... THAT is a good idea. I dunno if you could do that on that back deck panel though, since it's a cardboard piece.

    yeah i vac...mine out and i used black fabric paint on it

    Only way i could think off is if you let it dry really well, in a well ventilated area.

    I plan to fiberglass mine with some molded in speaker mounts and cover it in new material. The old fiberboard that it's made of will crumble to bits if you pressure wash it or get it wet in any way........

    yeah its made out of cardboard....with fabric.....thats why i got my car tinted so sun fade does not kill it faster.
