Need help eliminating alternator whine.

Along with my other post today im trying to get my car running and functioning like new.

I have had a problem with alternator whine since we got the car new off the lot. Here is a list of all the systems that have had the same problem with the alternator whine.
1) stock radio
2) aftermarket panasonic cd player
3) panasonic cd player, jensen amplifiers for speakers
4) added capacitor, new speakers, new monster cable from amp to speakers
5) tried moving amps around car, front, rear, middle, use different grounds such as on the battery terminal, in the trunk, the middle of the car. I have always used 4-2aug wire for power and grounds and the paint on the grounds have been scraped away. I also tried isolating the amp from the metal of the car and also tried grounding it to the car.
6) then i installed a ground loop isolater on the rca cables from the cd player to the amp and i was able to hear my music over the alternator whine again
7) rca and power cables have always been on opposite sides of the car, i have even switch sides once to see if that would do anything but it didnt, i even tried holding the cables in the air away from the car but there was still whine.
8) carputer with same amp setup, still whines
9) then i replaced my alternator (it was going bad) from one at advance auto, i thought this would fix it but its no different

I have a feeling that its something in the engine since this problem was there with the stock radio and its obviously not the alternator since i replaced it with no difference. The alternator whine is bad when its cold outside and the engine is not warmed up, but once the engine warms up its much less noticable but this is with the ground loop isolator on my rca cables. If i didnt have the ground loop isolator then i wouldnt be able to hear my music over the whine, its that loud! Ive tried everyting ive found on this site and others, i need help.

what side are u running ur rca's are they running with the power and remote or are the on dif sides the amp wiring is the culprit also do u have a good ground u may want to move ur ground a bit to find the right location also were are grounding the cap

i dunno if this could be your problem, but i was told sometime back that the ignition condenser, the little black thing on the coil braket, could cause a problem of alternator noise if it is bad. i'm not really sure if thats correct but i have heard it a few times on here. but it was called a resistor or something by other people. also, check this link out. might help you look for something else that could be easily fixed. http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=71

I'm with HondaBoy. Check your "radio condenser" first. After that, check your engine grounds.

Get back with us after you've checked all of that and we'll see what else could be causing the problem.

1. check the condencer. replace it with another one.
2. make sure your power and ground cables are the same size. they are running away from RCA cables. make sure the ground cables is not longer than 18". try to get it as short as possible.
3. you will probably have to rewire your head unit. run dedicated power wire from the battery to a headunit. after that find a switching power and run it to a head unit. you may want to run noise suppresant on power line (something like that) http://www.maplin.co.uk/free_uk_deli...ssor_33180.htm

my EG dose this the more u rev the louder the whine it sounds evil lol i was told i just need a inline filter for the power line
