Body Work - All in One [Lots of Picks]

I decide to keep one thread updated, so i gather them all together...
Attention: All pictures was taken with my Nokia Phone.

I'll kick off with first repairs i done on my car.

When i got the car it looked like POS. Rust in Channels(rockers), That was fixed first.

It was original look, before all repairs ^^^

There was so much rust underneath thet it was not legal to drive in it anymore so i decide to fix thet first.

Re: Body Work - All in One [Lots of Picks]

So I began to do repairs. I was lucky to drive car in to a school garage. Where it all starts.

I run on a road def.rail, as you probably see.

Nothing else to do but to disassemble all damaged parts.
Here's what I end up with

All that was still alive was stored to the better times )))

Re: Body Work - All in One [Lots of Picks]

Next day I got to work on the front.

Straighting it out first then weld it shot.

    and paint it in primer.

It was a day of satisfaction. Lots done, pain in my hands and my back indicates a good progress.
Then it was time to repair damage at the rear.

Shortly after a quick look i find that the car was damaged before at that area.

I got in that tho. Removed old body filler.

At that time i toad. -=When All this Gona Stop=-
I was finding more and more and even more, what needed to be fixed.

Re: Body Work - All in One [Lots of Picks]

While i was rubbing that ass full of filler I discovered that under rear bumper it was rust, lots of it.

I clean that mess up an beat new one out of a 1mm sheet metal. Hard labber i must say, with out right tools.
    Here goes nothing

Like i said that i was still finding more rust and stuff to be done.

Gues how much rust theres on the inside?!

Re: Body Work - All in One [Lots of Picks]

To bad i have no picks of that moment. But i do have this cut out hole

At this time i got low on resources (money). I had no choice but to make my own panels and inner arches. Where the hole is. I had to make them in sections, because of curvature of it and puzzle it all together.

Because I don't have a spare outside panel I used a sheet metal to form the arches.

Yup... don't pretty sight. So I grind welds off

    That was it...
To tell you the truth, i'm kinda bored with all this metal shaping and laying under the car and weld in lotus position.
So i turned to more fun part of body work. Dent repairs.

Re: Body Work - All in One [Lots of Picks]

To get to it I had to remove all door panels and windows. Rubber sealing and wiring.

All this trouble because of this

Some kids in the naberhood have left theirs foot prints in it. Well i got to fix that tho.
    Cleaned that up first.

Right after I welded studs to this dent

    And volla

Sadly, all that afford was going to waste. because i got me a donor car.

As time gone by, i was in trouble with my girlfriend, I was depress for some time, so I have polished head cover

After polishing i realized that something is messing, so i musk it up and painted with black color

    Finish product.

I must admit that my engine bay is derty. I'll clean it up when good weather comes.

And i removed CamGear cover too. + I moved ground cable from the front of the engine.

Re: Body Work - All in One [Lots of Picks]

Right after I welded Evil Eays to the bonnet. Like Thegreatdane did on hes.

Weeks gone by. I got sick one time. Didn't get any progress. But last week have been stressfully for me. My teacher said that i MUST get my car out no mater what by Friday(today03.29.07)
So this whole week I have been in constant rush to do as much as possible.

I removed door moldings, welded fenders shot, reforbesh front bumper, fill body filler to my rear fender, sand it all and primer almost whole car.
