    One headlight door quit working

Any idea, or a list of things to check? I already check the fuses inside the car, they all look fine.

This is most likely the case. If you want to check the fuse they are in the under-hood box and are labeled L and R "RETRACTOR UNIT", or something like that.

I checked the underhood fuses today, and they're both good. Just to be sure I swapped the fuess, and it's still the driver's side that's being stupid. So is there a way to test the motor?

Not a switch if only one isn't working, and yes these motors can go out. Did you try turning it manually? If you remove the 2 screws near the top and pull it off, you can check the condition of the brushes. You may be able to bend their arms in a bit if there is still graphite left.
