    Window motor brushes

Does anyone know where I can find replacement window motor brushes? I took the motor apart and cleaned the contacts/ lubed the window tracks, it worked better until the contacts got dirty again. I think it would be more economical to change the brushes because everything else looked good on the inside of the motor. Thanks guys.

Probably will need to spring for a new motor assy. Rock Auto has them for $50-$100.

Hit a junkyard and grab a bunch of brushes from rear windows. Typically, the rear driver's side is the one least used.

look in the yellow pages for someone who rebuilds electric motors, usually they can find something that works. those brushes can be ground to fit if needed. even the hardware stores may have electric motor brushes.
