Ok so I got this 87 accord lx given to me. the motor is blown and I've been looking at rebuilds and swaps. So far from what I understand the b20a swap is the most straightforward requiring nothing custom if you can get a complete motor and the one mount that is different. My question is I've noticed that alot of people say the manual transmission is hard to get. Does it have to be the jdm trans or can I use a usdm prelude trans from the appropriate years? really This old of a honda is not my specialty. I play with a 2000 civic ex so this is a bit out of my knowledge range so spell it out for me. and if anyone has some links they feel would be helpful I'd appreciate that too cause the motor is already on the way.
