Well I had been leaking oil for a while and i finally got to replacing some gaskets. I also worked on putting my b16 intake mani that i got from rendon in. First thing I did was take out my engine to work on it a lil easier.
I took pics a long the way because I know you all love pics lol.

I used Citrol to clean my pistons and combustion chambers. It works really good. Then i polished some parts.

Wow, looking good. I like how the polished parts turned out. What did you use?

As for the red block and tranny, it kind of hurt my eyes BUT then noticed it kind of matches your exterior. Have you thought about maybe painting the upper half black to match the exterior 2 tone? Not sure if that would look good but just an idea.

Thank you yk86. I used a wire wheel on a drill to polish my stuff. No imma just keep the upper half polished. Wish my headers weren't blue so that it could all match well.

Broke while we were putting the engine back in. Super glued it back up. If it leaks i'll have to get a new one.

Nice work man,how hard is it to hook up the B-series intake .Think about doing it later on when I can afford it.

you have to be the first person here to move an engine with a loader, you need to add a flex pipe after your header downtube, or it's going to continue to crack like that

lostforawhile: I do have a flex pipe. The shop that put it in put it where the cat used to be. I don't know why they did but imma get i fixed.

Yea no job and no money at the time though plus i in school at Oregon State. I have a knocking sound under acceleration. Rendon said its the bearings so imma leave her parked til i get a used block to put in. Then rebuild the old block.

yeah hang in there man,I've been working on mine for 3 years.With limited funds and no garage so it only gets worked on when the whether is good.
