    painted headligh eyebrows...!!

I just painted my headlight eyebrows and that little part thats next to the grill... I painted it black and the body is that really dark metalic blue... it looks really good I think... Im going to paint the front part of the cornermarkers (the clear part) a really dark smoked tranparent blackish color... and the orange part the dark red.. not the candy apple... so it should look like it flows better... I like it a lot though. I put 3 coats of semi gloss black and 2 clear coats... I hope it doent scrape off or anything... oh well, I'll try to get pics up sooner or later...

In MN the bumper signals have to be orange and so do the sidemarkers. It really sucks. My clear signals still look sweet as hell. Haven't figured out what I'm going to do with the corners. I would pay good money for some jdm corners. Hint Hint for those with jdm corners that are sick of them. Or want different ones.

I'm not sure how the law varies from state to state but when you say it has to be orange, does that mean the lens itself must be orange? Because here the signal itself must be orange when using it, so you can have clear or whatever kind of corners as long as you got orange bulbs...

the front turn signal doesn't have to be orange (some 80's and early 90's cars have while bulbs in a white enclosute)

What is important is to have a front parking light that's either clear or amber (we have that light beside the headlight)

Also, you need to have an amber reflector in both front sides. Our cars come with this where you painted it in red, thus making it illegal not only by the color but also because it's not a reflector anymore.

That's why we never got the JDM corners in the states nor the aerodeck ones. While the JDM lights orange, it's not a reflector. The aerodeck is clear and it's not a reflector either... This is why Honda never exported them to america.

When I first started driving my accord 4 years ago, I painted my eyebrows body color (red). I didn't paint the orange sidemarkers, but didn't know about the corner parking lights. A week later, I got a ticket for having "dim red lights" in the front of my car, and he claimed I was trying to "impersonate a police car".:flipa: I eneded up just pulling out the bulbs, and haven't been pulled over yet.

Body work is always expensive. I work at a trans shop that shares a lot with a paint and body shop.
