145 hp is my guess, but I can't even get my car to go anywhere so what do I know :P
145 thats pretty good are you serious?

115 - 120 more like
the weber isn't tuned out of the box either, and I would suggest you upgrade the pump, it helps get rid of the dead spot on acceleration.
what kind of fuel pump would i need?

I believe most weber guys went with the holley pumps, you may need a regulator to get the psi down to 3.5 but problem is finding one that does...
Holley Red

Holley Blue (Comes with regulator)

Aeromotive regulator (expensive but has 3 - 20 psi adjustablility and has 2 outlet ports which means you can hook the fuel psi gauge to the second outlet)

Holley Regulator (4.5 - 9 psi)

Summit Regulator (4.5 - 9 psi)

Auto Meter Gauge (0 - 15 psi You'll probably want this to set your fuel pressure correctly it has a 1/8 npt fitting so you need something to hook it inline with the fuel line or the outlet port of the regulator)

If you want some good power you should at least work on the ignition and timing.
Get some thick ass wires, new coil and a reground cam. With what you listed plus this 145 HP is more feasable.

Oooooohhhhhhh okay. Damn, 22 hp improvement. Instead of buying a Weber it sounds smart just to convert to EFI. Is there anything else different about the engines, like cams or anything?

If you tune the carb correctly you will pretty much be matched to FI stock or better.
Hey Mike can I hook up that holley fuel pump in my engine bay? Is it easy not to have an intank pump?
Thanks,
Mike

I still think the carbs have it... I will continue my modification http://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?p=438683

I think you need to remove the stock pump and then add on a section of new pipe to complete the pickup...
maybe upgrade the line size a little while you are at it but that envolves removing the old pipe and bending a new one.

I think the better answer is carbs DON"T have it. You can do wonders without an ECU putting a wall infront of any MAJOR horsepower increases

True but he's talking about converting to Stock efi... which includes the ecu... if it were something else like ITB's or anyother custom injection setup then I wouldn't have said anything.

Carbs are more powerful IMO. It's just that hardly anyone knows how to tune them properly. I will always have a carbed motor.

oh yea, after a20a1 vac removal, and added some part's afterward's, that car had some ball, yet conserved more gas than it did when i first got it.
but still converting to efi.

Yeah my car is a little faster after the vacuum removal and a few other things. Mike, when I get back to Minnesota you should help me tune my car so it idles and stuff. lol :D
