Don't even bother with the pacesetter cat-back. Far to many members that have purchased it have had problems with it. And pretty much any muffler system you can create on your own will make MORE power. A much better choice would be to purchase a Dynomax Super turbo muffler from www.summitracing.com and a generic stainless steel tip, muffler is $32, tip is $20 ='s $52 total.
Then have a shop intall it with 2 1/4" piping, I got mine done for $92. When you add the shipping charges to get the muffler and tip to my door they were $59-60 so my system cost $152, just what a pacesetter cat-back would have cost me. And it made about 5hp instead of 1.5hp.

For the pacesetter header walmart sell's a excellent paint striper in a spray can, use it and strip the paint off it and repaint it with 1500 degree paint. (I recently used the stuff to strip a valve cover so I know the stripper works excellent.) You should be able to get the header from nopi for $130

Well after actually looking into the insides of my cat:huh: I instantly concluded that I was going to buy a high flow cat. You can get the pacesetter car for $100 from nopi or fastfours.com.
The header will come with a down pipe. The header is designed to flex without a mesh flex section. But several members elected to have a shop add on to the down pipe before the cat.

I have said this before and I will say it again. I hate my Pacesetter catback Love my Pacesetter header never had to grind anything and I Love my pacesetter highflow cat. I also love my dynomax muffler with pacesetter piping. Next time If I buy another header I am defantly getting a ceramic one.
