Pacesetter adjustable throw... not much to see though.
does it really help with shifting at all like can you shift a lot quicker? and it's adjustable throw so can you chang the angle it's set at?
its adjustable to make the shifts closer. if you just cut the stock one down it doesnt do anything. this has been covered before, just search it you n00b!! lol j/k.Quote:

I have the same problem with mine and its a pacesetter. It sits where I want it to and the distance between shifts is alot shorter but its lost its leverage so its a little harder to shift. Gonna have to find a way to fix it to cause its getting old already.
i know what this is, have you ever kinda hit the shifter down?? try and you should hear it hit against the heat shield. thats what was making mine hard, i cut the heat shield and now its smooth. but im going to adjust it a little more so it can be shorter. :DQuote:

i have to order the poly bushing for it b4 i put it on.
You get used to it. It may be time for new tranny oil though. Four parts synth to 1 part Lucas oil stabilizer = smooth as butter.Quote:

no my heat shied is cut to make room for the shifter and it has fresh mtf. With the pacesetter you just loose leverage when you bring it down there fore making it take more effort to shift than stock.
Here is a pic of mine. I have the pacesetter and it is threaded about 3/4 of the way.
