well ive been a member of this site for awhile now and i havent posted anything just been going through the different threads reading and getting some knowledge lol , but enough of that i have a mini timeline of my car and i want you to keep in mind im 18 and went to school now college so its nothing special but i try lol. ive had the car for almost exactly a year and its my daily driver to from school/work.
feel free to leaving comments i know im going to get alot of :wtf: 's and :huh: 's ahah

btw i liked the red paint

well, props for doing shit yourself.
I will have to give two thumbs down on interior, rims, and primer, and neons.
i think you should repaint the rims black with polished lip.
Do something about that ugly white and black interior.
paint the car at least with some paint.
and ditch the neons.

i like the interior but its more like a show car interior....in our state white dash is ilegal...maybe on yours too...and like frantik said the red looked good....i would stick to more performance mods....trust me you will like them

Nice ride dude/ I'm loving the neon lights Im going to get some undercarriage ones too for my hatch real soon. I gotta stay with the showcar theme. Clean interior also. Are those seat covers are actual seats?? What color are you painting it?

You've obviously got some skills, not everyone can rebuild engines and paint cars, but... That primer's gotta go. Take some lessons in design, tehn you can make some really sweet-looking shit

Looks like you've done alot with a car that started out dead. I too liked the red paint, looked good (at least in the pic, Im assuming the paint didnt look good in person is why you are re-doing it?) Anyway, Im kind of the same type of guy you seem to be, I do all my own body work mechanic work, and I paint my own vehicles. In fact, I have my car completely stripped and gutted, doing an LX-I conversion from the former Carbed setup, and repainting the whole car top to bottom, and grafting in a sunroof. I'm leaving my interior stock, just updating it some, and the exterior will be mostly stock, with some subtle clean-up mods (I like the clean look vs the cluttered JC Whitney Jose Jimenez stick on crap look).

I'm curious about the color your going to choose too. Are you going to jamb the car or are you not going to mess with that much work?

I'm not a fan of neon lights, but its not my car, so do what you want.

I think the red paint looked awesome, I really like these cars in red. Also, I can't imagine driving with a white dash, but your interior does look a lot better now.

and the red does look very good on that car cept i wouldnt venture into red with a sedan looks nice on a coupe

well I did it red and im one of those guys that gets bored with my car and i always have to do something to do it every chance i can when the moneys there that is lol well the paint looked great then one day we were driving around on halloween um eggy things *shifty eyes* lol and my friend threw one at my car and it chipped then that gave me a great idea to put some skirts and side skirts on it without hesitation now lol . theres about 20 colours in mind and colour schemes of two toning lol but i was thinking a nice electric blue kinda like whats on the dodge cars but not quite. and as for my dash no its not illegal cause i live in canada lol there isnt to many laws against cars here. the white is act easy to clean just a lightly damped rag and one swipe and shes looking good again. and to answer ghetto daddys question i did the bumpers by using some sheet metal to get the length and the look i wanted then made it out of fiberglass and layered it nice and thickish lol thanks for the input on my car more so the good than the bad and for everyone saying ditch the neons they have been off my car for about 3 months while ive been doing the body work if that makes u sleep better at night lol

only if i could make that kit...with out spending 600 bucks...

i may do a how to on the bumpers the crappy thing is i didnt take pics of the making of them. i did a bit on the side skirts. there from a Z24 cavalier which most people on this site know is a cheap effective way to put a side skirt on our 3g's without to much modifying. i just decided to make it flush was just easier that way lol.
