Finally adding myself to the scene
Hi guys,
My name is Daniel from Phoenix/Tempe, AZ. I drive a 89 Accord LX-i with 180,XXX miles. Its my daily driver. Has a few problems but then again who's doesn't? Hopefully you guys can give me the feedback I need so I can fix it myself and I dont have to spend more on paying someone to fix it than the car itself is actually worth. The car has been in my family since it ever so smoothly stepped off the dealership display :P and now I have it. Its actually older than me by one year haha. Have been on the 3geez forum for a while now only as a spectator, never actually posted any threads but now i'm going to be spending alot more time on here.
Heres my 3g let me know what you guys think. Be honest too I wont be offended...

Dont mind the dx rear brake lights they're replacements and now have the LX-i emblem ;)
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
The wheel looks like it says formula c7
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
yeah i dont know is that the wheel brand though?
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
Where did you find the picture of the rims? Start there.
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
The wheels are Sprint Hart CP-F.... Fairly rare wheel, and they can be pretty pricey, there are knock-offs of them out there though.
Also, Welcome to the forum, good to see more new members around, and looks like you have a really clean accord... wheels and stance look pretty good too, what mods have you done so far?
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
I like that car! Black coupe, with tints and a good set of wheels and stance! Perfect!!

Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
Thanks guys! I appreciate all your comments!
to begin to reply to some of your messages though.
Well the fuel door is actually the paint fading after being topped off ridiculously at tge gas station then driving off into the AZ heat that way. Its been that way since it was my older brothers. Would anyone know how to fix that without repainting it?
About AZHT. I am on there but it was a similar situation to this of 3geez. I never added anypics, never really got on, or got too situated, so as you can imagine I probably couldnt remember my password to save my life! Haha but i'm going to check it out again and look you up man. Thanks for the invite.
Thanks for the comments guys!

Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
Ill also be posting some more recent pics later this week guys. Im going to try to find some greenery aound here and test my photography skills. Ill be posting some pics of the engine bay and my interior. Hopefully i can get some good shots!
Also the question about my mods so far are only:
-2.5 exhaust with a high-flo cat
-Lowered on no name coilovers "racing sports" haha
-I cant quite remember but i think ngk spark plugs but definitely ngk spark plug wires
-15" konig rims (old school) probably over 10 years old :)
-Alpine stereo with ipod connections
Thats about it guys its not much...
Soon to come though
-Charcoal grey paint with gloss black hood, roof, trunk.
-Rota j-mags(polished) does anybody have a pic of what these look like on our cars?
-Fog lights from a 89 prelude which im already fabricating to fit in my lower bumper slots
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
please don't paint it that way... just keep it simple and clean dude. put a lip from a 1g integra and maybe do a CF hood... but i'd leave it like that.
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
awww man dont do this to me!. I've had my heart set on this paint job for quite some time now... But now that someone mentions it I'm going to consider leaving it. I'm always changing my mind so who knows maybe it still wont happen.
I have already picked up a 1g teg lip from the junk yard. I have tried to work on fabricating it, just haven't had the time with school and everything.
I also got on AZHT today for the first time in a couple of years... So i'll look around see if I can find some people with 3geez...
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
Whats a cf hood?
Does anyone know if those alternative bumbers could fit my car?
im not sure if its called a pre-face lift or a facelift or something like that...
I want the one with a small dip in the middle between the headlights
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
the one with the small dip is either 86-87 or all the hatch backs... i think it looks sick personally too, it's a pre face lift... there are a few people on azht with 3geez. mostly just phil though lol...
cf hood is Carbon Fiber...
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
facelift (88-89 sedans and coupes)
http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...cord006ca2.jpg
prefacelift (86-87/all hatchies) and its the best imo!
http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...M5295Large.jpg
thats the same car btw :lol:
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
see i can see that second pic at work blake, but not the first... weird huh.
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
yeah pre facelift is badass! Would it fit on a coupe easily? im sure theres a how to on it but do you guys know off the bat?
and I cant believe I didnt make the realation cf - (carbon fiber) i feel dumb now lol
Re: Finally adding myself to the scene
by the way those fogs on the pre facelift bumber are the same fogs im customizing to put on mine. i want to get rid of the thick round glass tough and switch it out for plexi... or lexan or something like that
