I had a 3G with climate control before. It was great - you set the temp with dial and thats it! I still miss it.

Oh, and there was retarctable fog light as an OEM optional parts for 3G 86-87 model in Japan. There is a light cover in front of the fog light lens and when you switch the light on, the cover moves up. So you can say retractable light cover rathar than retractable fog light though.....
Other option I liked was electric corner pole. There is a retractable (at that time it was very important that everything was 'retractable') pole installed on the passenger side corner of the front bumper. When you park your car, you elect it (not yours) then you can recognize the edge of the bumper so that park your car without your bumper scratch agant other cars.
damn honda was way ahead of time, so basically the domestic took the idea's from the import's.
Also the 3geez was the last carbureted Honda or I think the last carbureted car. Since nost cars in 1990 and on are FI. Also if any one has seen the untouchables rap video they actually fit like six people in the car and two of them are fat. That you goota say about the accord, it is wide and spacious compared to some compact cars now.
THE last car to have a carb was a subaru justy the last car to have it in 1990.
but was the last carb honda.
it wont fit a small cup from wendys and it wont fit a huge cup from taco bell...good thing i never have to use the e-brake...lol.....the fact that mine should have exploded by now is a good indication that honda makes a solid car
does anyone else wink their lights at other 3geez?...just tap the headlight retractor switch next to your dimmer without depressing it and your lights will wink...its trippy if you see it down the road...i do this all the time
okay blinked...sorry...i wish i knew how to make it wink..i would soo make a button
well, if one headlight motor is faster than the other, and you keep mashing the button like a girl playing Street Fighter, the flip ups will get out of sync. (one up, one down). It looks trippy but you will probly break something.
for real you guy's what is so hot about pop-up's on a 3g?
i mean how come we don't have stationarie's head light's???????
There was a carbureated F18 in a 4th gen accord, not in the US though.Quote:

i 2 thought i was one of the only ones to use that space as a cup holder.
Haha. I've gotta try that cup holder thing. And yeah, every once in a while, I think about doing that blink to other 3geez out there. The only thing is that all the other 3gee drives out here in AZ treat they're 3geez like crap, almost not wanting me to acknowlege that they have a 3gee. It's quite sad. I was wondering if there is any interesting fact about how our hubcaps are bolted to the wheel itself for safety issues. Is this a first or last or anything?
yeah, most people treat their 3geez like shit, but there are the dedicated few (us members on 3geez) who see how good of cars these are.
Funny fact is that those people who knows about the car understands that 3G Accord was advanced and sensational at that time. When I see a rad who don't know about our car well and was lude to it, I asked if he knew what the double wishbone is. I told him that it is identical system as Jaguars and F1 machines but his macpharson strut is for school bus, then he became quiet.Quote:

JDM B20A with alloy block produces 160 bhp and its weight is 122 Kg. This means 0.76 Kg per 1 bhp and was most efficient weight/power ratio engine in the world at that time.
seem's like honda is more sophisticated than it seem's.
Its off topic but Honda is only the car manufacturer which owns F1 racing circuit (Suzuka).
Honda also owns the Mid Ohio roadcourse. CART, AMA SUperbike, IMSA (RIP), SCCA NAtionals, and the American LeMans leagues all race there.Quote:

They also have a kickass driving school.
i was about to say the same thing. AMA superbike was just blasted by honda with honda in the top 3 and one time it was a consecutive first three places and in the other consecutive 2nd to 4th place. Its a name honda has made and found ways to keep it. Respect!!Quote:
