Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
oooo....an ep3. how do you like it? i've heard bad things about them...
-
Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
Absolutely love it man. Heard bad things? Ive never had one problem with it, and the k20 is smooth as it can be, shifting is amazing, and its a really fun car to drive and well designed. Its alot easier to drive than the EM1 si IMO and has much better torque for daily driving, and no the ep3 isnt slower ha. Ive been really happy.

Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)

Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
oooo i <3 ep3's. the jtuned one is amazing. love it.
-
Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
how are you liking it?
One of the heaviest Si known to tuners aka the Minivan.
It can look soo dope if tuned right. have fun with it! It's a shame we don't get the K20A2 in there but instead its a garbage K20A3 with no true vtec. =\
-
Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
i always liked those since they came out. never cared for sedan or coupe civics. just the hbs.
-
Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
Its not that much heavier, its almost 2700 lbs, just ruffly 100 lbs more than an EM1, but with quite a bit more torque. It does have VTEC, bit its just intake side only, but you can still tell when it changes lobes. The K20A3 doesnt have supper all motor potentional until aftermarket cams come out, but its pretty easy to drop an A2 head on it. The A3 is actually better for boost, which is why I decided against the head swap, and keep the lower compression, along with the 7800 rev limit with Hondata K-pro its not a bad package. The stock internals will hold 10 psi for an everyday driver, but I hope to do a little internal work when I get the money and shoot for a little higher, as well as an fmic which is a must for boosting that high. So money is the real issue, and its gonna be a work in progress.

Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
i like it :) btw hows that shifter feel
-
Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
if i could find one around $10,000, i'd buy one.
-
Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
The shifter actually feels alot more natural than a normal 5 speed. Its just something you would have to try. i loved the car at first, but was very skeptical about the shifting of the car, but it took me 1 minute on my first test drive to change my opinion. The shifter feels more natural where it is and its closer to the wheel and very close ratio.
I actually got mine brand new about 4 grand below sticker price for a couple different reasons, and could have it running 300whp for the same price I could get an rsx-s or a gti. I got pretty lucky with the timing of the sale and such (end of 03 season.) Thanks for the kind words even though its not a 3G, Ill have those pics up soon too.

Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)

-
Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
imo
worst si ever
worst shifter design ever
id take an em1 anyday
but on the flip side, looks good/clean
drop that bitch!

Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
Nice opinion. Ill assume you havent driven one. I used to slowly walk my best friends EM1 with an intake as my only mod over and over again, but the EM1s are nice looking, but I like the hatchys. My car is dropped on tein s-techs as you should be able to tell from the 1.5" fender clearance.

Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
everything on it looks clean, minus the rims. Not a big fan of those
-
Re: Here are my Civic Pics (56k Death)
I hear ya, these rims werent my favorites. A buddy of mine was getting ready for a honeymoon and needed cash, so i waved 5 bills in his face and he let me take them. 5 enkei cdr9s 6 months old, with 5 brand new tires. Just couldnt pass up the deal man. Im trying to sell them for higher, make a little, and buy what I want.
