I found a company that will ship the 2G SPAX springs part number S012003 to the United States for $281.08. http://www.247ppd.com/ I might need to get me some of these.

Wow that's fantastic, amazingly cheap. I forgot about the Spax springs, and last I saw it was going to cost a fortune to get them shipped... That's the same drop as the Eibachs too. Now just find us where to get the Whitelines for cheap.
Ninja Edit: Also, check out the coilovers thread we're working on. If you can help out, that would be fantastic. We've seen a few people overseas using some Nissan parts to make it happen. I don't really have the time or money this month or next month to work on more suspension mods for the 2g. I'd hate to see that thread go stale.
Also, being that you work at the Honda dealership, is there any way to do a parts lookup to see what parts are available for a certain car? Like I'd like to get a list of the full inventory of parts that fit a 1981 Accord at a certain dealership, or even nationwide... can that be done, or does the parts lookup only work one way? I'd just like to see what is available to buy for my Accords and see how much stock is left.

Well... thats a little easier said then done. I can look up specific parts and see which warehouses have it or even what dealerships have it but beyond that there really isn't much I can do. It is hard to do availability checks on large batches of parts because you still have to look up all the part numbers individually and then enter them manually in the parts availability field. As far as I know, Honda is keeping available most parts to keep the cars running, like filters, gaskets, brake parts, most safety and emissions related parts, timing belts, water pumps, etc. Unfortunately as far as body parts or accessories and interior parts and such it is limited to old stock on hand and is slim pickings at best. If you are looking for something odd or discontinued, check out Vintage Parts at http://www.vpartsinc.com. This is the company that Honda sells all of their old stock to. Also if you see something on Vintage Parts that you want, your local Honda dealer can order it for you from them. I was able to get a throttle cable through Honda for my 79 Prelude but, on the other hand, we had trouble getting a muffler for an 87 Civic. It is really hit or miss sometimes. To get an idea of what they have at vintage parts, go to the locator and select "Honda Motor prts and accs" and then select "contains" and in the search field put either SA5 or SA6 which are the center digits for most of the part numbers that fit our cars.

Damn! Thanks for the linkage to the Vintage Parts company. I thought that was some division of Honda or something. The guy at the dealer said "lemme check vintage parts" I didn't even know it was a separate entity. Sweet! Thanks!!
I was wondering too why I had written off the Spax springs. They are a 35mm drop which is 1.3 inches. Exactly what my Eibachs drop it to. So I dunno. Those seem pretty fuckin' awesome if you ask me.
Wow thanks for the link, I was wondering how to get my 2g a bit lower, it looks like it's on tippytoes in standard trim. I haven't looked at my shop manual yet, is it a big job? John
It's not a huge job just to swap out springs. Might take a day if you've never done it before. I would love to see your car lowered! It's so clean as it is the drop should look awesome! Pick up a set of Koni's while you're in there. ClassicGarage.com has them CHEAP! I wrote a guide somewhere in the 2geez section for installing the springs and Koni's. I'd never even touched suspension on a car before, and it took me a weekend to do the shocks and springs.

Cheers, it will be a winter job, I have a '73 Ford Escort on the go at the moment, These things now take me a lot more time as I'm semi disabled. I have the tools and mental capability though, as I'm an retired Police advanced vehicle examiner.
I'd be up for a group buy. My car looks like the inspector gadget car when it sprouts legs.
