i dont know if you guys have noticed, that center piece serves as a sort of low point for drainage. inside at the bottom of the trunk thres a little rubber grommet designed to let only water pass through, as long as its not clogged.
i found out by hosing my trunk out, after 3 gallons of used motor oil dispersed itself on the way to oil pickup. and my 3g no.2 has a leak at the trunk channel but stays dry.
just one of those lil things that make them different from those lumbering american rustwagons
is this exclusive to the sedan? will it work on my hatch?
Every car that I've ever worked on has that. >shrug<Originally Posted by motoracer

im thinking it would be pretty easy to see what needs to be cut, you dont need to cut anything unless your going to put on one of those lower tie bars and when you go to put it on you should see exactly what needs to be cut cause as far as i can tell it wont go on unles you cut the little hookie thing, so i say just buy one ,try to put it on, if it doesnt go on look at whats stoping it and cut that

Was that one sentence? Try using a period or something every once in a while. Please.

I did not have to cut anything putting on the 2 lower tie bars from Justin, but it WAS a tight fit. I just hammered the outer one in place (w/ a piece of wood), no problem. For the upper bar, I wanted to keep the plastic shock tower cover, so I just trimmed what was necessary.
Yep. It's the internet. Which means the only way people can judge you or attempt to understand you is through your ability to write. Punctuaction generally makes things less confusing to understand. Please try using it sometime.Originally Posted by b8er

Keep bugging him to make more, lol. He originally told me it would take about 2 weeks, which naturally was more like 2 months. But it was definately worth the wait. BTW, hoo kars abowt gramer n speleeng? Eyem hear fer kar infermashen!!!!

For those really interested in language.... If you've ever wondered if you have dyslexia or a reading disability, take this simple test. Say the following words in order, OUT LOUD, as fast as you can. It is preferable to have someone with you as you read out loud so they can attest to any disability you have.
Begin now:
EYE
YAM
SOFA
KING
WE
TODD
DID
lol......wow!

Next time a technical thread gets offtopic for the retardest reason, I will personally see to it that the one who took it offtopic is watched on every thread.
PS: This is not just to you noob, everyone stay on topic.

so i got the megan racing one for the 90-97 accord too, but it is not fitting. at least not very easily. does it matter if you have your car on ramps or not? (because that's where i have mine.) but beyond that, the bar isn't clearing the jack point. it is clearing it better than the round one i got before, but will definitely be a tight fit if i get it to fit at all.Originally Posted by L3G10N
the car need to be jacked and yes, it was a tight fit but mine fit without any mods, but as you said, was a tight fit. Worst case, you can shave each extremity of the bar to give you some space to play with and shorter the bolt who get into the bar. This was a point I was thinking to do this summer when i'll receive my other Megan strut bar(i'll need to mods 'em as i did for my Ractive/Vibrant one).

I just took a chunk of the jack point off. I have used it since to raise the car also, didn't affect anything.
Enjoy the bar, I noticed a slight difference in how the rear stays planted cornering.
is this the same magen bar u guys were using and dose anyone have pics of it on
yeah exactly this one!
