UPDATE on my car (mkymonkey) oh yeah 56k die!

ok so, i got my new suspension setup installed on wednesday, and i think its time to post up some pics. I bought Mr. Dereck's (Busted_Blue) old setup, Tokico 1" drop springs and Tokico Struts as well as his "Justin's Strut Bar." Well i've got to say, it feels freakin awesome! its a lot stiffer than stock, thats for sure. my stock setup was very bouncy in a very soft way, and this is completly different. once i got it done, i went down to my favorite curve, which i usually take it at a max of 45 mph. But dude! now i can take it at over 65mph. wow! what a difference. well enough talk here are the pics

yeah performace does feel better. actually, i dont get as much chrip as i used to, now the car feels like it grips the road a better at each take off. anyway the lip is from a stock 89 acura integra. just bolts on, but a very tight fit. i followed superaccord's instructions on how to install it. i had to use half inch spacers all around to get it to line up the way it does. if i didnt the lip wouldnt really go witht he lines of the bumper.

wth? xzibit? hell no dude, if i let that guy touch my car it will end up with a rag top, some crazy orange and blue paint scheme, 20" chrome wheels, a 65,000 watt subwoofer powered by a 500watt amp, an energy drink dispenser and a turntable in my trunk!


oh oh oh i forgot, yellow and black seats, 10 monitors (1 in each chrome wheel, two on the bumpers of course the headrests, one in the trunk and the one in the dash) and of course the psp's riding on the asembly line belts

ok i took the pics, but alas i cant upload them because of this stupid computer at work. i've said it time and time again (although not here) win98 was the worst mistake bill ever came up with.

anyway thanks cory, and to your demise, i havent even touched the hood since you last saw it. i was going to do it on these days off that i had from work, but my brother wanted to drive my car around while he was here so all i did was spend my days at home in my couch listening to a bunch of concert dvds. well listening and watching lol. ill post the pics up as soon as i can. and you guys will see what a stupid mistake i did and tried to correct on my CAI.

i like it too, the funny part is that it was one left over from my cai project, and i was going to throw it away, i just put it on the lip because i wanted to see if it would fit, so i could get a grey one, well it stuck on good and i didnt want to take it off because i was afraid it would peel off the paint from the lip; so i left it there. after a day it grew on me and it looked like i belonged there since i got the lip idea from this site. ill post the pics up for everyone to see when i get home.

I really like the lip. It looks like it was meant for the car and the drop isn't so intrusive that its like "woah" but, if performance is what you were looking for then it seems like you got it! And for the xzbit comment you guy's forgot the most important part...

and you son of a bitch, now i have to go get a teg lip. fucker.....AND i have to spray my trim black.....stupid bastard, gave me another damn thing to do over the break. its been good for the car tho, i finished my CAI, did my exhaust, armor alled the bitch, fixed my holey shit handle, and my window motor and o2 sensors get replaced monday, have the parts but the shop cant do it till monday. i also planned on spraying my fender and headlight assembly with Cast Blast Charcoal, cuz it REALLY matches the car.
