whats up people! im new to this forum, well i heve been searching and reading previous posts and looking at your guy's cars. so i guess now its my turn to show your my POS. lol ok ok, my 3g. i got it for 300 bucks from my boss. everything on it works even the ac is still super cold. i already installed an
AEM intake which i had to cut because it came from a 90 civic hatch. Also an ALPINE 9841 HU, 6 1/2" infinity kappas, and some cheap blaupunkt 6x9's for the rear.

Dammit! If that's what we are calling POS now ... I don't even have a POS anymore, mine's like sub-POS.

That's really clean for 300 bucks.
Perfection is simply a matter of replacing parts.

looks like you didnt let the filter dry when you sprayed it with the recharger. What kind of air filter is that? It doesn't look like a stock AEM one as the filter looks like it isnt reusable material.

nice for 300 bucks.. also your tapeholder is messed up =P What happened there?

ok guys i finally got a change to respond to the posts after three days.
well. i work for a tow truck company here in orange county, CA (that answers your question Cheeseburger) and we towed this as an abondoned car from an apartment complex. it was sitting at our yard collecting dust for 35 days. California law states that PPI's (private party impounds) are to be leaned after a 72 hour period if not picked up. well my boss was going to sell it for 1500 and i offered him 900, he said "fvck it take it for 300, its a perk for the job." it was really banged up and had a dirty engine. A little oven cleaner went really far in the engine bay as you can see. also the wheels were so dirty and rusted with dirt and debris, again oven cleaner, and wheel polisher cleaned that up. (ill post more pics later.) ok the intake was actually free. like i said i got it off a 90 civic. we towed that too, its been at our yard for 5 months. and no one noticed how clean the engine was. well my boss cleaned it up and gave it to his daughter and gave me the intake. so i tried it on my newly old accord, almost fit. a powered saw and pvc clamps made it fit.

well i actually had just finished washing the car when i took the pics, so thats acutally just water. and its a cheap $10 filter from pep boys. the one that was on teh civic was torn and not reusable. i already ordered a k&n one already but i bought this for the time being. oh and on the tape holder, it doesnt have one. i made that piece but I broke the top off. so thats the end result. im looking for one on ebay but cant seem to find one.

I'm sure the intake cost around that itself. (psst, get it off the coolant lines!) =)

well i call it a POS, cuz i orginally bought it as a beater to take me from school, work and back home, but now i see it has potential for a fun car. i actually have a 2002 civic ex. but i dont want to put any more miles on it.

Is that an "Autozone special" filter I see? I started out with the same thing though. No shame! Great buy man. I got mine for $500 and I thought I got a good deal. You could use a better car freshener though! Rock those Chucks! Better than my Carb&Choke Odour de Toilet!

no its actually a pep boys special. 10 bucks dude. the only reason i got it is because i didnthave the money to order a k&n filter. but i just got paid and im in the process. ebay baby! oh and i do have an air freshener, its on the dash its just that the pic doesnt show it. but my chucks to take over the odor. lol

not a bad start, it looks like theres a crap load of room for improvment though. Keep it up, you've had it for what? two weeks? Im sure you can get it back to tip top shape.
