alright, i actually got it from the post office today, and ran it by my friends house.
Heres what he said
"It can be machined, but not for $100, the set-ups and tooling is too extensive. It can be done for $150. Our preliminary production run is going to consist of 40 units." this is not to say that we need 40 people, just that they will produce 40, sell until their out, and then produce 40 more if they think its worth their while. "Unfortunately, we don't get our new lathe for 30 days" so its on stall until they get their new machinery. Save your money people

they did say that they would improve upon the design as well, as far as making it lighter. unfortunately no color options will be available
so it will be just machined steel? that would be sweet as well.
