    D-ropped!

Yip! I dun it now! I dropped it 2.25" from stock height. Unfortunately the place where i took pics wasnt very well lit.. And, well, as you will see, i had to lighten them and they didnt come out all that well. Anyway, wa-la!

    I'll take better pics later.
Alas, no more 3gee. She was a wonderful car and will be missed..

    Re: D-ropped!

    watch your rear struts.

I think i blew one of mine and now my left rear is riding about 1" lower then my right, looks like i have a flat, and my tire rubs on the inner wheel well now. Gotta check the strut and such when i get time

Looks damn good though, i love the feeling of new struts/springs going in a car

Did you get camper kits? My front is off -1 (which isn't too bad) but my rear is off by -2. I have camper kits for the rear just need to install them.

    Re: D-ropped!

looks realy good with those wheels. Make sure you get adjustable arms for the camber, you will get up tires soooooo damn fast at that drop. Mine lasted about 10K miles at 2.25" drop with no camber adjutment.

yeah, i have ground control coilovers now, so its no biggie, but i really should do the pinchfork mod just on principle. i will probably do it when i upgrade to 89 hubs and do the brake swap.

Thanks guys. Put lots of work into getting her this purdy.

Anywho, i need to wash it though. Haven't washed it in a while, and these rims get way dirty because of brake dust! It sucks.

    Re: D-ropped!

I so regret not lowering my old accord. I lowered my teg when I got it on DZ coilovers and I absolutely love it. I had the tires for 5k mi and the backs wore totally even and the fronts have slight wear on the insides. Go onto honda-tech and you'd be amazed the tire wear alot of people get out of a good alignment. Around here they charge at least $200 alone to adjust the camber kits on a car. For me tires a little sooner are much cheaper than buying the camber kit and the adjustment cost, and on top of that once you get the camber kit your tires will rub more on the outside of the car than before. But damn, your lowered accord makes me want to go back in time and lower mine about 3 inches.

    Re: D-ropped!

3 inches is a little extreme. You'd need some super stiff springs, only because it'd rub on the inner fenderwell in the rear very easily over bumps. I love the way this car feels, but when i got my alignment the dude at the shop said the rear toe can't be adjusted or some shiat... I don't think thats right, is it?

But yeah, my rear tires are +0.4x off, which is bad. :|

the rear toe can be adjusted. the rear camber can't. (unless you use ghetto washers)
