well when i saw the wheels they looked great, but upon closer inspection...two of the rims were cracked on the inside...so no deal

They could have been fixed easily. We bought a set of Indy or also known as SS/T rims from the 97-98 Indy Pace Truck and SS/T Rams from a guy in Michigan. All four rims had cracks around the bead area because they were run on the rims in a police chase and all four tires had been spiked. Truck wrecked, yadda yadda. We ended up buying the rims cheap off his truck and he shipped them to us. Then we took them to a rim shop and they heli-arced the cracks up, and re-turned the faces of the rims and the bead lips, and re-clearcoated them like brand new. Costed $100 a rim, and to buy them new from Dodge, they are about $650 EACH. Not a bad deal.

Oh and I have two extras now because between two wrecks my wife has had in the truck, they've fixed the rims again, and I complained and had them put brand new rims on, and they let me have the old rims too, and they had already been refinished lol. Not perfect rims, but damn good for freebies!!

oh no dude...the were not just cracked...like not a hairline type of deal.....it was like cracked so through the rim, like it would need to be welded back on, also....one was missing a piece. anyway this was over a year ago lol
