The Last hours of her life... (56K beware)

My 3gee is finally dead. I was driving home the other night and the timing belt snapped. Luckly i was in front of my house so i was able to roll into the driveway. I bought a new timing belt but decided that I have had to many problems with this car. So that means, I teardown! Me and my brother spent all day yesterday tearing apart the engine gathering parts to sell what we though we could for CHEAP on ebay. Here are a few pics of the teardown, and if you interested in any parts keep an eye on this thread cause I will be posting links to my auctions on here. If you are interested in anything else not in the auctions also post here and i will decide if I an pull it off the car and sell it to you for a cheap price.
It was def. an interesting expereince tearing it all apart, when we took the head of I was suprised to see how clogged the water jackets were around the cylinder walls; they were almost completely sealed shut. you might be able to see it in the pictures.
Also the bottom three pictures are things im going to sell, even my new door panels I just finished painting and re-carpeting. Like I said before everything is going for cheap! Oh ya and the two pics that are urls, I couldnt remember how to resize so I just put them in as links.

Sad! Was their anything wrong with the head in terms of bent valves or anything because of the timing belt snapping? Im afraid mine is going to go out on me. I really gotta change it. What are you gonna drive now?

    dibs on egr valve.

if you are going to part this out, this thread needs to be moved, or start one in the market place.

Not that I know of. I just got tired of always working on it every weekend to ensure I was going to be able to drive it the next. Well, I would like to buy this 89 LXI near me for 2000 but I cant get a loan so i am probably going to get a 92 explorer.

I was working on the interior when the car went. The only thing I have is the door panels which is in the pics above. Which I will be willing to sell for cheap.

If i sell the egr valve its yours. I will have to take a look and see what kind of shape it is in.

I will probably start sellin on here in the market place Friday. This way it will give me time to get pics and clean some of the items up. PM me for questions or post here.

    Same here.
What are your plans for a ride in the future?

Of course I'm lazy. If I wanted to work on my car I'd have gotten a DSM
